Name: Addey a.k.a. “White Raven” or (birth name) Elina
Height: 5’7”
Age: 20
Gender: female
Town: Mellekori Island
Personality: Addey is cunning, daring, witty, and crafty, similar to how her albino raven, White, is perceived to be. Despite that, she is quite considerate, loyal, and is very much a heart-driven character. When she goes out to steal, she sometimes acts without thinking, which can become dangerous, but she’s resourceful enough to get herself out of most situations where she finds herself in trouble. She’s very trusting and true to her word, so she doesn’t take betrayal too well at all. Normally, she’s not very flirtatious, but if the situation calls for it, she can act supremely well (so much so that she can imitate voices, both female and male [helps that she looks a bit boyish, too]) and can easily manipulate situations to work for her or against others.

Etcetera: She’s very sentimental and will keep “souvenir” objects from where she’s been often. Most objects she collects are shiny or valuable things, as she’s somewhat of a kleptomaniac. She enjoys story telling and listening to lore and fairy tales and the like, and she’ll always stick around to hear one when someone’s telling a good one.
For reasons that reveal themselves in the book, she has to darken her hair with dyes; she keeps her gender hidden and often wears a noble ball mask when thieving, for identity safety.
Her cape can be tied up (as shown here) for convenience when on the move. It fastens at the ends of the hood, too, and can be easily removed in a necessary situation.

Her partner in crime, White, is always with her. He helps her when she needs a lookout or when she needs to send off a message or small bag of treasures. He’s somewhat of a comic relief, as he’s very playful and will sometimes collect his own little treasures from Abbey’s stash. Despite that, he’s an extremely intelligent raven, and can often accomplish things that would be otherwise impossible for White Raven to do without him.
Note: He’s sensitive to harsh light, especially his eyes, so he sticks to night jobs or to the shadows to avoid the irritation/pain of bright sunlight.

Is there anything you feel very STRONGLY that your character NOT be drawn doing?: kissing another character, being too off-character

/edit2: White's height to an "average" for ravens, as well as a few tiny details
/edit: added a background texture because textures make everything better -- need to fill in that "with" bit since idk what that thing's called help? it's a hooky thing that grabs on to buildings and such

When I started on this today, I was just going to make it a quick reference and refine it later, but I'm actually relatively happy with it, so I'll leave it as is, despite that it's a bit sloppy here and there (linework, organizing). I also didn't use reference for much of what was drawn, as I did have the base sketches done for most of it anyways (though those were done months ago, bah).

So after me posting a good few images/sketches of this chick for about two years or so, she finally gets a proper reference (well, as proper as it's gonna get for a while). This will probably be her reference for #Hetherev when I get my things sorted out and can be active in the groups I'm in already.

I'm not going to give out her background information, as she's a character in a book I've been working on, and I just don't want to give the story away just yet.

They are always up for trolling anyone if your character stops by the academy. Also I am about to add in a theify sort of doofusy guy into Heth soon, based off of my sylvari from Guild wars 2. I think he'd get a long with Abbey, especially since he's going to be in Melekori too.

Oh this looks like such a sweet character 8D I love how she will disguise herself as either gender....I'm intrigued to find out why she dyes her hair....aside from the fact that white hair stands out so well. A character of mine, also with white hair, would love to dye hers (for general easy living reasons) but the dye never takes to her hair at all for some reason....

Anyways I look forwards to more works of White Raven O3O <3 xxx

Op, why thank you, m'dear. I'd like to give out information as to why she does all that, but despite the temptation, I can't, bahh. And oh? That's neato -- "for some reason" must be a secret, too.

I hope to get to draw her a lot more once she gets into that group, but I do tend to doodle her a lot, so at least she shows up in that way, if not in full pieces just yet (though she is currently in a WIP for a larger interaction image).
